Factory Outlook Most Optimistic for 12 Months
Optimism amongst Britain’s manufacturers is at its highest since June 2008 according to the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). The CBI have said that the outlook for production for the next three months was improving after “months of destocking”. 27% of the companies questioned thought they would increase in production, 32% expected a decrease. Although this represents a negative balance this has been the least negative prediction since June 2008.
